In order to encourage more development and contributing to the website I am going to configure a dev server that pulls from a dev branch of this repository, as well as other repositories. The site already exists at:

https://dev.opensourcedesign.net

To be completed are:

  • Create dev branches on repos
  • Create build scripts on the server
  • Add github webhooks which automate deploying what's current at the dev branch

I think we can set up GitHub branches to automatically do PRs to dev. Is that something we want?

Yah, that sounds like a pretty good idea to me... but maybe some criteria like:

  1. must be member of GH Org
  2. must on a certain "Website" team or something...

What do you think?

I'm unsure whether this is now work that is wasted due to #242 talking about a complete rebuild of the website?
