We currently use docs.alchemiscale.org for the alchemiscale docs, and api.alchemiscale.org and compute.alchemiscale.org for the alchemiscale.org instance API services. However, we currently have nothing hosted at alchemiscale.org itself.

It would make the most sense to have a landing page at alchemiscale.org that serves as a hub for the project, linking interested folks (potential users, devs, etc.) to project resources. These resources would include:

We could implement this as a statically-generated Hugo site, in a similar vein to that of MDAnalysis: https://www.mdanalysis.org/

We also want to highlight the following:

  • organizations using alchemiscale for their applications
  • organizations contributing resources to alchemiscale development
  • Datryllic's current leadership role in the project

The site could also feature a list of services vendors available to provide help with alchemiscale deployment and extension. This would include Datryllic, noted above.

This site would be backlinked from the alchemiscale repo README, for those users that stumble upon the repo first. We would also set https://alchemiscale.org as the website link.
