Since version 0.8.0 (released two weeks ago), the Google's ML Kit for Flutter (https://pub.dev/packages/google_ml_kit) has been split in multiple plugins to allow developers to use only what they need. Here you might be interested in https://pub.dev/packages/google_mlkit_barcode_scanning instead of the following self-managed package:
