Analytics

Maintainers talked about improving the analytics capture. Capture active nodes, and cohort analysis for retention (@avishnu will look at cohort analysis for Maya, @edrob999, @Abhinandan-Purkait for Locals)

Community meeting

• On 31 October, community meeting. We will discuss changes to openebs.io
• Discuss Rawfile status + futures

OEP process

• Maintainers began a discussion for how project manages enhancement requests.
• Scribe left meeting 8am Pacific before completing the discussion

  • Commit to using this process for any new feature, from now onwards
    We're committed to start adding features based on a OEP, for all OpenEBS subprojects.
  • Modify numbering format to follow GitHub issue number
    The OEP is to be modified to be more similar to K8s, where the numbers are not sequential but rather point back to the issue which is raised for the enhancement proposal.
    The contributor guide is also to be modified, removing the requirement to have discussions in the "Discussions" (they could simply happen in a github issue).
