As a steering council, we have identified inconsistencies in our membership listings.

To complete this card, we should

  • Reach a consensus on who is currently an active steering council member according to the governance repo
  • Contact any non-active members according to the governance document
  • Identify all listings of steering council members
  • Define the relationship between steering council membership and GitHub membership/permissions for the ODC Organization account
  • Review member/owner permissions in GitHub
  • Update member listing, remove people that are no longer active contributors
  • Add rules about GitHub membership/permissions to the governance repo
  • Update relevant listings and remove irrelevant listings
  • Update GitHub memberships
  • Decide the single source of truth and record this in the governance repo
  • Update the governance repo with instructions for when new members join and existing members leave
