App Crash while activating a Center

Summary:

The App crashes when we try to activate the center in the centers module.

Steps to reproduce:

navigate to Centers in the bottom nav bar.
click on any center with the red indicator which has not been activated yet.
click on activate and then click on activate again.

very similar to #2220 . Fixing one might fix the other one too
