The below paragraph, has a broken link at the end ('here'):

Did a little sleuthing....

This particular link died between 2019-07-11 and 2020-04-14. The 301 target lasted until 2021-04-13.

Given that the latest archived copy of this article still notes its publishing date as 2014-01-23, I think maybe we should find a more recent guide.
