There are many cases where the word "Host" is used incorrectly in the context of the spec. For instance, in this description of the System Clock, "Host" is used to refer to the main clock on what is actually an ONI Controller

Host system clock frequency in Hz. This describes the frequency of the

  • We need to do a general search for the terms Host, Controller, and Slot to make sure they are consistently defined and used in the spec.
  • Slot is never properly defined. I've been using it as short hand for "Host Interconnect". If we agree on that, it needs to be defined an placed in the hardware hierarchy image.
