httm does not work in a ssh session

Long story short: httm works when used via a directly attached VM console, but not in an ssh session. httm's dependency for fuzzy finding operations, skim (forked by me as two_percent), also does not work. The/my guess is this has something to do with how the underlying TUI library, tuikit, sets raw mode during an ssh session.

httm works swimmingly in an ssh session on FreeBSD, Linux, and MacOS.

Please to assist in any way possible to get my app working on illumos! Thanks.
