This would be a Web Form:

If you want to request OMI representatives to participate in your event or speak, you can go to our website and submit a Contact request Page. Some people are not familiar with github and using issues to submit these requests.

RE:

- We need a form that comes to the champions to review new opportunities for participation.
- Go to OMI site, and fill out a contact form.
- Champions can review the list
- some level of filter (but not a crazy high bar) to weed out-of-scope events out.
- A champion can choose to "own" the opportunity, creating an issue on behalf of the form-submitter to review in a Wednesday call or omi-votes channel.
- If we can't find a champ to back the idea, it may not be in scope, but this is something we should discuss more.
- like what if its not a champion and its community members that are rallying around an event? We don't exactly need champs to become bottlenecks of opportunity. It's about ensuring people know how to submit and that there is a process for reviewing.

The leanest concept is to use a google form. This has built-in embed capabilities, and built-in GDPR compliance. We can improve using alternatives or Wordpress features over time as needed.
