  • Visit http://events.olin.build/
  • Click on the “Talk about recurrences” recurrence
  • Click “Edit”
  • Click “Delete”
  • “Are you sure you want to delete this event?” → “Okay”
  • The view switches back to the month view; the recurrence is still shown

It's possible this is fixed in dev. Because of #120, I can't test it there.

I'm marking this Blocking because until this a fix is deployed to production, we can't (use the GUI to) prepare the production calendar for public use.

There are several potential causes for this:

  1. event deletions may not currently be reflected immediately on the frontend (until a refresh/requery is triggered)
  2. the event may not actually be deleted due to the recurring event ID structure being different than non-recurring events
  3. something else

I can look into it more later.

This is blocked by olin-build/ABE#191.

This is no longer blocked, given the knowledge that the format YYYY-MM-DD works for getting recurring event instance data.

@osteele osteele modified the milestones: Release 1.4 — final events, Release 1.6 — return to school May 15, 2018
@osteele osteele removed the blocking label May 16, 2018
