Just saw this task and wasn't sure but if it is proposing to use a zero width space to resolve a problem, I just wanted to respectfully request that if at all possible, the resolution not use zero width spaces anywhere in the actual notes. They cause me all sorts of pains all the time and I've grown to have a general opinion of ZWS == asking for trouble.

Obv it is what it is, though. Just wanted to put my 2cents out there in case I understood it correctly and there were other options. Thank you! :)

I don't understand - please can you explain how Tasks using a ZWS in a space in an error message that it is rendering in the Obsidian UI make things harder for you?

It is nothing to do with "in the actual notes".

Ok, so iiuc you're saying it's exclusively in the error message, and a ZWS is never written to the notes in any way?
If that's the case, I apologize for my misunderstanding.
ZWS causes so many issues in my work that I just have a gut reaction to them even existing :P
