R Markdown supports parametrized reports: https://bookdown.org/yihui/rmarkdown/parameterized-reports.html

Bindings could be generated automatically for these, e.g., switches for params that are TRUE/FALSE, input fields for texts, and input fields for numeric input (sliders and dropdowns probably hard to realise unless we add our own metadata - think about that, too).

Parameters need a full rendering of the document = a job - how does this work together with the bindings UI ?
