UX: Multi-story screen (mis?)labeled "Query String" but require URL and query string.

The field labels read "Query String" but are not really just the query string, the full URL is required. Took some guessing for me to figure that out. Perhaps a label like “URL and Query String” is more accurate/instructive.

I've been using it with and without the full URL and getting the same results.

Ray, by "getting the same results", which of the following do you mean?

• You use either the full URL and just the query string, and get the same query results with both configurations
• You use either the full URL or just the query string, and your results are the same as @hearvox's results: the full URL is required to receive query results

Good question. The former. Whether I use the full URL or just the query string, I get the same query results.
