I get a lot of build errors because of missing prototype declarations. I guess pclu_sys.h is the natural place to add them.

Back when I was looking at this in 2019, IIRC the best way to attack this is to get a really old version of GCC. IIRC there are other GCCisms that are no longer in spec for modern C compilers (I had similar issues compiling the exokernel).
