I could try and re-create the Opera GX new tab page. Users who opt to use it would be able to use custom backgrounds - either from their installed mods, or their own computer. I'd need to implement the Speed Dial and possibly the weather, but it'd be pretty simple. It's just a new tab page.
Perhaps this is something I can take on in my free time. If anyone else wants to help with it then feel free.
