When I'm logged in to X on another tab, I see this on app.nih-cfde.org:

cfde-twitter-logged-in

When I'm not logged in to X on another tab, I see this instead:

cfde-twitter-not-logged-in

Pretty sure that in the pre-X Twitter this would work even if not logged in (to Twitter/X).

One option is to remove/replace the panel, particularly since the last tweet was from almost a year ago.

On further investigation this appears to be a (well) known issue with complaints about its semi-demise going back several months:

I checked the "Twitter Publish" tool (publish.twitter.com) and it gives us the same HTML snippet for CfdeNih tweets that we're already using (and which gives the "Nothing to see here" message when the user viewing the page isn't logged in to X.)
