Settings not sticking

Somehow ended up with nifskope 2.0 dev8.
Every time i set the path and archives in settings, click save or apply and close the window. then reopen the settings and they are all gone.
So i guess dev 8 has a bug retaining the settings.
I also realize that dev 8 is also a WIP, so maybe not ready. which is why i don't remember how i got dev8.

The only fix i can do is downgrade to dev7, which works.
