  • ookee website uses Clay with some hacks in the html for rotation and animations

Btw, very cool project that circumvents the usual chaos of the web ! I just want to draw rects and show them and Clay does just that.

Clay can be used in conjunction with cnlohr/rawdrawandroid to create a fully C app for Android. (edit: made a prototype, I will upload it in a bit).

hey. I wanted to know if this library has been created to be used in some existing project.

because there is also this library called Nuklear. I used it some 2 years ago, and its documentation was incomplete and it only places stuff from top to bottom, and I wanted some control of placing stuff in the middle or bottom. I want to give this library a try, in hopes that layout'ing stuff is nicer.

Nuklear seems to have started in 2015 and it seems to continue some previous work. I don't know if Nuklear was ever coded to suit some particular use at all. but maybe it has some actual users besides toy usage.

anyway, I like to know about the history and rationale of projects.

@mundusnine do you know the dev who worked on that website? If so, you could reach out to them and let them know that the new HTML renderer used on the clay-official-website example in the repo has native scroll support which is much smoother on lower end devices 🙂
