Should be avoided. See some former research of mine at https://metadaten.community/t/einheiten-cm-kg-in-rdf/410 and w3c/sparql-dev#129. It looks like handling of measurements is not as mature as handling of geographic coordinates (GeoSPARQL) but some RDF standards will evolve hopefully, so no need to reinvent it in CRM.
