Fulltextsearch doesn't support filters in global search

I've tried to use the filters in the global search window, which was introduced since 28.x.x and found that the data from ES fulltextsearch are not shown if I use some of them, in particular the date option.

So, if I want to narrow the search criteria to a specific time range when looking for documents containing specific data, it works only for searching amongst files and folers which contain the searched text in the name of files and folders for the filtered creation/modification, time period. However, the fulltextsearch section doesn't provide any results.

It should show the files which contain the searched data in their contents for the specified by the filter time period.

The other filters apart of the date/time range are not relevant and useful for the operations with files IMO.
