As partly discussed in #30 and requested by @JeroenvIS that I create a new ticket, here it is.
The HP MCS devices show up as enterprises.232 in the Model column of Netdisco inventory table. The desired outcome would be to have it discovered as:
Vendor: HP
Model: MCS (with any other info that could be gathered like model#)

What info do you guys need from me to be able to determine if this is possible?

What is an MCS? A layer 2 or 3 network device, or something Layer1 like a UPS?

Hi Oliver. It is a managable cabinet. You have all kinds of sensors on it, even use networking for access control etc. It can have an IP address for management, which you could then use during discovery to get all kinds of info like power strip data, cooling etc.
