We hope you had a great holiday and are ready to take on a new year of development. We're excited to kick off the year by sharing our latest progress on CKB.

What’s New

• SDKs have been updated to support CKB v0.106.0
  • Java 2.1
  • Rust 2.4
  • Go 2.1.1
• A module to unpack molecule data has been implemented as part of the Lua scripting support.
• The VM team has conducted an early study of zero-knowledge Virtual Machine (zkVM).
  • This technology integrates zero-knowledge proofs (ZKP) and virtual machines that can execute a program and generate proof of its execution. The generated proof can be verified by anyone using the public program, along with some specific inputs and outputs.

What’s Coming

• The Light Client team plans to release the GA version v0.1 after completing the code audit.
  • Several updates have been implemented as patches recently.
• The SDK team is working on a proposal to support primitive integer types in Molecule.
  • The Molecule library currently only manages binary data and does not include built-in support for primitive data types such as integers. However, as these types are widely used, most projects utilizing Molecule require additional logic to handle them.
• The Open Transactions team is currently in the process of developing both the format for open transactions and a transaction pool. The proposal for the format is expected to be completed and ready for review next week.
