theres a mod called puzzlelib which has a feature like this I will show a example of this. it is also useful if your reporting a mod incompatibility to a mod author and they ask for a complete mod list. i think puzzlelib does this by getting the mods from the mods folder and writing down their dependency like mixinextras or other things.
