This example doesn't build anymore. I got some progress after removing the pinned rust-toolchain file, but am getting these errors, which seems to indicate a deeper look. I was hoping to fix this quickly, but it looks like it'll be more involved, so noting it here.

After removing the toolchain file:

This has been reported again by community folks and is still broken.
