About menu option links do not open in a new tab/browser

The About menu option URL links do not work this includes the Try new Editor link. Ideally what I would like to see happen here is the default browser open with the link selected from this dropdown menu or try new editor link. I'm not sure if this is possible from a docker extension but it will be interesting to find out.

Failing that the quick fix would be to just comment out these lines of code and rebuild from the forked repo of Swagger Editor

I've turned on debug mode for the extension to see if it provides any clues, however this is telling me nothing.
