I've been reading through your ARM, lots of good information in here

Hey ...thank you. I'm always looking for feedback to make it better. How are you using it? When you looked at it, what were your goals? What was your purpose/needs?
ianco 11:53 AM
No particular goals ...
I have one piece of feedback ...
I found the first diagram (All In One Viewpoint = https://github.com/mwherman2000/indy-arm#1-all-in-viewpoint-) to be a bit overwhelming!
There's a lot of information packed into this one diagram
mwherman2000 11:55 AM
Yes, hence the other viewpoints. Do you think an overview diagram ...a sort of "street map" would help?
ianco 11:56 AM
The viewpoints are good but the higher level diagrams put the "all in one" into perspective
a "street map" as you call it
mwherman2000 11:57 AM
I understand. I could show colored overlapping rectangles or something to highlight which parts of the ARM they cover.
ianco 11:57 AM
Right
There's already some colour-coding in the diagram
.. which maps to the domains?
mwherman2000 11:58 AM
Like countries and continents on the map of the World
ianco 11:58 AM
Domains are Rows and Perspectives are Columns, right?
mwherman2000 11:59 AM
Yes
...but overlay some "regions" on top of those
ianco 11:59 AM
Right
mwherman2000 12:00 PM
...some "named regions" ....which can be located in the All-in viewpoint but each would have its own viewpoint as well.
Do you mind is I copy and paste this conversation into an issue in the INDY ARM repo ...to remind me?
ianco 12:01 PM
No go ahead
mwherman2000 12:01 PM
Thk you for thinking about this

One thought I had - in a couple of the earlier sections (Architectural Perspective https://github.com/mwherman2000/indy-arm#architecture-perspectives- and Architecture Domains https://github.com/mwherman2000/indy-arm#architecture-domains-) it might be helpful to include a simplified version of the diagram, without all the detail, but showing how the perspectives/domains map to the diagram

Perfect idea.
