Using NM_000500.7:c.-108C>T in the name Checker I get the error: Position 0 is out of range.

A more informative error would be: Nucleotide position c.-108 is at position -1 relative to reference sequence NM_000500.7. The description is not correct. Use another reference sequence, e.g. a genomic reference sequence.
