Adding Speaker (sonos) to groups interrupts playback #3073
Comments
A slight interruption when a player is joined is normal. You haven’t attached the full log as requested. You haven’t provided all of the information requested in the troubleshooting page. Please edit your report with all of this information. Which Sonos provider? Screenshots might be helpful to show what you are seeing as we don’t see any problems with Sonos. |
didn´t work with beta before... sorry |
Can you provide a step by step with screenshots so we properly understand the issue. |
also the music interrupts at the beginning,.. seems to stabalize after time playing |
Just to confirm which provider. Sonos S1 or Sonos? |
Sonos... |
Can’t recreate this. Does the additional player join despite the status of the checkbox? If so, can you refresh the browser page and see if the checkboxes are correct then |
it happens in the moment checking some other speaker... like it losses my marking... dunno if it is an problem of my pi, cause it is overload with other stuff. I rebootet and could´nt recreate again... but the interruption of my system still there and calms down when keep playing... |
As I mentioned in my first post a slight interruption as a player is joined is normal. https://music-assistant.io/faq/groups/#temporary-sync-group |
If you are experiencing the expected minor pause can we close this? |
Actually I’m going to keep this open as I’m advised that Sonos is one provider that should not have the pause. If you can provide more info about that or even a video recording with sound that would be great. |
ScreenRecording_10-25-2024.17-32-15_1.movwhile this, the music interrupts (eg. @buro speaker) and kept playing somewhere else in the house I could hear, but not exactly which speaker... after a while doin nothing, it find itself again have a look to lounge ;) I don´t know if you can see: I checked the lounge it unchecked itself |
