Your idea

Requesting that a split point feature be created that automates placement of notes input by a MIDI keyboard to the proper clef on the Grand Staff.

The default split point is C4. Anything above C4 goes on the treble clef, below C4 goes to the bass clef.

Problem to be solved

Current functionality places all MIDI keyboard input into the treble clef, including those notes that belong on the bass clef. It does this by showing many ledger lines.

PreSonus Notion 6 uses a split point feature.

Additional context

I understand that I can click into the bass clef and enter the notes independently, but that is twice the work as having MS automatically place the notes appropriately.
