Installing mkchromecast with brew

when I try brew install --cask mkchromecast , once it reaches soundflower installation it fails. installer:

"The install failed. (The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance. An error occurred while running scripts from the package “Soundflower.pkg”.)"

That's because the brew formula has not been updated yet. The other problem has to do with how I built that dmg file. I had to install a virtual machine with a very specific version of macOS. I lost access to it and trying to build with more modern versions of macOS became really complicated.
