Background Information

UNICEF Global have requested a tool to identify gaps in a country's cold storage infrastructure.

The pain points in this Epic are:

  • There is no easy way to assess whether the current CCE infrastructure will be adequate to serve the forecast population over the next 5 years.

Problems to solve:

  • A way for central users to view aggregate metrics on the ability of the CCE infrastructure to cater for the demand introduced by immunization programs for the estimated growth in population over the next 5 years
  • A way for central users to apply filters to those metrics to narrow down the data they are interested in.

After speaking to UNICEF something that could be useful here would be to be able to switch on and off CCE that will need replacing due to End-of-Life for forecasting.

E.g. the forecast could show "This is how bad the situation would be due to population growth, even if you replace all the CCE that will need replacing"

And it could also show "And THIS is how bad the situation would be due if you didn't replace any of them.."

We should set -70 °C as N/A for LD and SP (have updated the mockup)

@Mai21 - the current query is not respecting vaccine_course.is_active - can we exclude those vaccine courses from the demand calculations when is_active = false ?
