Please note that the German translation file has a significant reversal of meanings. It is a critical issue because it is misleading.

Here are the translations of "Estimate" and "Proposal" into German:

Estimate: "Schätzung" or "Kostenvoranschlag"
1
2

Proposal: "Angebot" or "Vorschlag"
3
2
Note that "Angebot" can also mean "quotation" or "bid," depending on the context
2

Best translation in the business sector would be
Estimate: Kostenvoranschlag
Proposal: Angebot
