Hello,

I came across your server manager online, but am using a friend's Arch Linux for my server. I am very noob (friend taught me how to use the command interface a couple days ago), but learn quickly. I was wondering if someone could direct me on how to install using Arch (I believe the main hurdle is the apt-get command) or if Marcuswhybrow could make a quick installer for Arch Linux.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks.

Installing the missing packages is fine (pacman -S packagename).

The main issue is that Archlinux is using systemd instead of initscripts in the latest versions. So you will be able to start servers, but to stop them you'll need to kill processes.

The solution could be to "translate" the script so it can work with systemd. But I'm not able to help you about that.

See #145 for the conversation on supporting systemd. I'll leave this open as the issue is probably broader than simply adding systemd support.

Bump - this is really a duplicate of issue #121, with some overlap w/ issue #145.
