Cache randomly showing up in OSC #14751
-
Linux Debian based distro / GTK based Desktop Environment I never had this before but all of a sudden I am now noticing that my OSC now displays "Cache: " on the right side and my seek bar has a horizontal center line. I thought maybe I hit a hotkey by accident, but I did keyword search in input.conf for "cache" and nothing shows up. Doing a keyword search in the manual for "cache" generates over 230 instances. Does anyone now why something like this happened? and how I can toggle it back off? Thank You |

I discovered that this “Cache” only occurs when opening audio files. I would have thought someone would have known the answer to this. Thanks for the help |

I do not remember this happening in the older version of MPV that I was using but now after upgrading to 0.38 this occurs.

For anyone interested in this in the future, I was able to turn this off by adding the following to my mpv.conf file
cache=no
Thanks for the help
