I apologize because I cannot seem to figure out what I am looking to achieve, which is leading to many questions.
With the OSC I have a desired WINDOWED setup and a desired FULL SCREEN setup that I would like to work together.
I use FS by default but at times would like to be able to shrink to FS down to a windowed mode, but am running into some conflicting items.
GENERAL INFO
-Linux Debian based distro / GTK based Desktop Environment
-MPV 0.35.1-4
-Using fullscreen by default fs=yes
-I am using “script-opts” in my mpv.conf file to achieve this.
script-opts=osc-timetotal=yes,.......
-Using “UMPV” script to only use one MPV window at a time
WINDOWED OSC DESIRED SETUP
-under media (not overlay)
-always show
-show as large as possible no matter how small window is
FULLSCREEN OSC DESIRED SETUP
-overlay on top of media
-hidden "auto" (show with mouse hover or keyboard toggle hotkey only)
-show as large as possible
I will post below some of the progress/issues I have run into with trying to get both desired setups to work properly together.
