Saving meta with an arobase in a 2i key throws an error #217

Error is:
{ [Error: socket hang up] code: 'ECONNRESET' }

    var meta = {
      index: {
        'foo@bar': 'foobar'
      }
    };

    db.save('test', 'test', 'hello', meta, function(err) {
      console.log(err);
    });
