Use of this pattern should be removed as it's horribly inefficient and works badly with a number of backends. Currently I'm aware of the listall, listallinfo and count commands doing this. The list commands we recently "killed" so that leaves count that I know of.

Once these are fixed we should start emitting warnings when we get empty queries.
