As a user of the Hybridly hybrid meeting platform, I would like to request the implementation of screen recording functionality to enhance the meeting experience. This feature will allow users to record their screen during meetings, enabling them to capture important discussions, presentations, and collaborative work for future reference. To achieve this, we need to investigate and determine the most suitable strategies for implementing screen recording in the Hybridly platform.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Research and evaluate various screen recording technologies and frameworks.
  • Consider the platform's compatibility across different operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari).
  • Evaluate the performance impact and resource consumption of screen recording.
  • Consider the impact on network bandwidth and storage requirements.
  • Identify potential limitations or restrictions on screen recording, such as capturing specific applications or respecting user permissions.
  • Based on the research, propose an implementation plan, including estimated timelines and resource requirements.
