Creating pure .NET 9 bindings for C99-style header files.

I'm trying to create .Net bindings for some strictly C99-style header files. I've tried many settings and consulted lots of information, yet the generated binding code always involves handling of C++ features. I want the generated binding code to have nothing to do with C++ features. What should I do?
