These are colored output instructions.
How did you get the shell? SSH, VNC or something else?

I think this is an issue with your terminal. What terminal are you using.
In the VM, what does echo $TERM say. What does infocmp $TERM say

I use Iterm2 and connect via ssh to a ubuntu 22.04 vm

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a ubuntu 22.04 VM with the sampels repo https://github.com/mondoohq/samples/tree/main/aws/ec2-instances
  2. Login via SSH to the ubuntu vm
  3. copy the integration code for Ubuntu from the Mondoo Dashboard
