I have confirmed this bug exists on the latest released version of Modin.
I have confirmed this bug exists on the main branch of Modin. (In order to do this you can follow this guide.)
In [1]: import modin.pandas as mpd In [2]: s = mpd.Series([1,2,3], index=[1,0,2]) In [3]: s.argmin() Out[3]: np.int64(1) In [4]: import pandas as pd In [5]: s = pd.Series([1,2,3], index=[1,0,2]) In [6]: s.argmin() Out[6]: np.int64(0)
