Compilation error: variable 'UtilsClass::setTimestamp(time_t)::timeval tm' has initializer but incomplete type

Hi,
When trying to compile the Basic.ino to a WeMOS D1 mini, I get this compile error, that I can't get my head around. The strange thing is that it compiles just fine on another computer. Same setup, same libraries, same versions, same paths, same files (copied).
So maybe this is the wrong forum, but the error occurs in this library, so maybe it's related. Or maybe there's something I missed...

I have tried to:

• re-install Arduino IDE and Visual Micro,
• uninstall and re-install all libraries (latest and older versions) from VM. Have also tried to just copy them from the working PC.
• ESP8266 board (also different versions).
• Deleting caches from Arduino and Visual Micro.

It drives me nuts, and I have now spent two days on this. I hope some fo you gurus can help :-)

I suspect it's related to library and board versions, so could you please provide the exact versions of the ESP8266 board and all related libraries you are using? Any other ideas would also be much appreciated.

I recommend update the esp8266 Arduino core to latest version (3.0.2).

This is not related to the library but your esp8266 Arduino core installation is not complete in your IDE.

You should use PlatformIO on VSCode or Arduino IDE.

OK, thanks. So you are saying that the Visual Micro extension of Visual Studio does not install these libraries correctly? Just to understand you.
It does not compile corrently using the Arduino IDE.

No, the library works properly but the ESP8266 SDK installation in your IDE is not completed or successful or missing necessary files which are already included in the ESP8266 core libraries if it properly installed.

The error is about missing required core library files which should be existed if your ESP8266 Arduino core sdk was completely installed.

You were absolutely right. For future reference, here's what I did:

• uninstall Arduino IDE
• uninstall Visual Micro extension
• delete VM and Arduino caches
• run a repair on Visual Studio (it was already latest version)
• reinstall Arduino + set the correct paths
• reinstall VM
• reinstall the latest boards and libraries
• make sure that the options for the WeMOS board is set correctly.

and - boom - it runs.
