TOWERS

There are four classes of defensive tower: Projectile, Laser, Launch and Glue. Upgrading a tower changes the specific type of tower that it is. Enhancing a tower makes it more powerful and reduces its reload time.

PROJECTILE TOWERS

Projectile Towers fire simple slugs/bullets. Each slug is capable of damaging only a single enemy. The three projectile towers are:

Canon: Pea Shooter

The Pea Shooter fires a round ball which travels over the enemy force to hit the specific enemy at which it is aimed.

DualCanon: Double Barrel

The Double Barrel is two Pea Shooters mounted on a single tower. Its effect is identical to the Pea Shooter, except that it can attain a higher rate of fire, and each slug may inflict more damage to the enemy.

MachineGun: Bullet Hose

The Bullet Hose has an incredibly high rate of fire, and its projectiles are capable of inflicting massive damage to the enemy. There are, however, two drawbacks to the Bullet Hose. One: Its projectile travels in a straight line, and it will cause damage to the first enemy with which it makes contact. Therefore, it will not hit its intended target if another enemy is in the way. Two: All weapons with such high firing rates produce tremendous amounts of heat. You will most likely feel the heat from these towers through the back of your phone.

LASER TOWERS

Laser Towers fire a concentrated beam of energy. The three Laser Towers are:

SimpleLaser: Bzzt

Bzzt Towers fire their beam over the top of the enemy force to hit the specific enemy at which it is aimed.

BouncingLaser: Zap

Zap Towers also fire their beam over the top of the enemy force to hit the specific enemy at which it is aimed. Lasers fired from Zap Towers will "bounce" from the targeted enemy to up to two more enemies, inflicting damage on all three.

StraightLaser: Flash

Flash Towers fire a concentrated energy beam directly at an enemy target. The beam will inflict damage upon any enemy that it passes through in the way to its intended target. A well placed Flash tower can inflict an unspeakable damage on an enemy crowd.

LAUNCH TOWERS

Launch Towers are used to deploy sophisticated explosive devices. Each of these devices is capable of inflicting damage to every enemy within a certain radius from the epicenter of the explosion. The three Launch Towers are:

Mortar

Mortars are thrown high into the air and explode upon contact with the ground. Mortar Towers are slightly inaccurate.

MineLayer: Mine

Mines are devices which detonate only upon contact with the enemy. Mines can remain undetonated indefinitely and Mine Towers will launch mines even if there are no enemies present. The number of mines that a Mine Tower can simultaneously deploy is increased each time the tower is enhanced. Flying units do not trigger mines.

RocketLauncher: Rocket

Rockets are precise, guided weapons. Rocket Launch Towers lock onto a specific enemy and fire a rocket which will seek only that enemy which the Launch tower is tracking. If the enemy is destroyed before the rocket reaches its intended target, then the Tower will acquire a new target and the rocket will seek it instead.

GLUE TOWERS

Glue Towers are used to slow The Enemy down. Glue towers do not inflict damage. The three types of glue towers are:

GlueTower: Splat

Splat Towers spill glue onto the path. Enemies are slowed by the glue as they attempt to pass through it. Glue will slow multiple enemies, but dries fairly quickly. Flying units are not affected.

GlueGun: Snot Rocket

Snot Rocket Towers squirt glue at individual enemies. Snot Rockets are stickier and last longer than normal glue. Each Snot Rocket only affect one enemy at a time. Flying units are not affected.

Teleporter

Teleporters are not true glue towers, as they do not actually use glue. Instead, Teleporters will capture enemies and teleport them back towards the beginning of the path. Enhanced Teleporters work quicker and teleport further. An enemy unit can only be teleported back once.
