Bug Description

The button for Cue is right above the "Play and Pause" buttons, easy to mess up the song by hitting the Clue button, yet I have not found a way to clear that "Cue". I don't use the hot cues at all as I edit all music before it gets to Mixxx. I can easy clear a Cue created with the Hot Clue buttons yet when that feature is not displayed, I have yet to find how to clear a Cue when the cue button is pressed.
A lot of work yet perhaps creating a simple editing program like a picture of your interface is displayed with an checkbox next to each feature to turn display on or off. I use mixxx in a Lesson/dance party scenario where I only use the Mixer functions, song preview, pay - pause track, eject track, replay song controls.

Version

2.3.6

OS

Win 11

Could you please explain what you mean by "clear cue"?
IIUC the cue is initially set where Mixxx' analyzer detects the first sound (> -60 dB). That cue is also the default load point, ie. the position the player seeks to when that track is loaded, and it's also used as 'intro start'¹.

In case you set the cue another position unintentionally you can seek to intro_start (assuming you didn't touch that) and set the cue there.

Do you maybe intend to lock the cue point?

¹note that intro/outro markers are visible only if you enable them in the skin settings menu (Deere, LateNight, Tango skins)

As a quick workaround you could also disable the cue button in the skin you use. 'disable' like clear the control it is connected to, or remove it entirely, though that will probably mess up the layout a bit.
