Can you please add optionally, a window or format, where the response is visible as it is was sent by the server?

For example I ouput sometimes a logfile. If I get this response with your addon, the linebreak are removed.

In case I get a json string as response on the other hand, it would useful to format it more readable.

For the JSON part, i really like https://github.com/LorDOniX/json-viewer. For the linebreak thing, maybe you can use a simple editable div, without highlight.js or a textaera. If i have time, i can try to make a pull request in the evening.

Wow it would be great, feel free to ask if you have doubts about the source code

@Offerel I don't know if you are still using Resting, but finally I have followed your advice and in the last version (1.9.0) I've integrated the json-viewer to navigate JSON response.

Many thx. And yes of course, And yes, of course, I still use the extension. It continues to serve me very well. Sorry I didn't respond right away, I was traveling on a ship the last few weeks where I hardly had internet. Many thanks for the adjustment.
