Describe your suggested feature

When a chapter is marked as read, add it to history.
Optional: It should be added if it has a higher chapter count than what's in the history.
Eg: If history entry is not available then add the entry with chapter number.
Eg 2: in history chapter number is 3 for the entry & marked chapter is 12 then update the history to have chapter 12 as read.

I'm against this. I like the current behavior, whenever I want to add a chapter elsewhere to the history I just open it and skip to the last page, not a big deal.

It's not an issue when there is only one series, but it becomes a lot of an issue when there are multiple series.
Eg: For me it's sometimes 10 -- 20 series.

This sounds dumb. Any other app you can mention that does something similar?

Maybe it was Tachiyomi fork for Mangadex that does it.> This sounds dumb. Any other app you can mention that does something similar?
