Hi Jelle, as I don't have direct means to contact you I'd like to ask the question this way.
I have converted my BizTalk Software Factory to use GAT/GAX for Visual Studio 2015.
The solution compiles and I can successfully install the VSIX ("Install to Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2015 completed successfully. The extension has been installed to C:\USERS\ADMINISTRATOR\APPDATA\LOCAL\MICROSOFT\VISUALSTUDIO\14.0\EXTENSIONS\DH41MDB0.TND").
However when I start a new instance of Visual Studio and try to create a project based on the installed BizTalk Software Factory guidance package, it doesn't show up in the new project dialog under 'Guidance packages'.

When I run devenv.exe /log it all seems fine:

  • informational on import of pkgdef file (C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Microsoft\VisualStudio\14.0\Extensions\dh41mdb0.tnd\BizTalkSoftwareFactoryRegistration.pkgdef)
  • successfully loaded extension
  • extension is enabled

Any idea what could be causing this?
I'm using Visual Studio Community edition UPdate 3
