The right side pane in the Agents Window can intermittently restore at an unexpectedly narrow width, leaving the Changes multi-diff editor compressed and difficult to use.
A colleague has seen this layout several times today, but we do not yet know the triggering sequence or reliable reproduction steps.
Expected
The right side pane should retain a usable width and preserve the user's prior layout proportions across session switches and other layout transitions.
Actual
The right side pane sometimes becomes extremely narrow while the session/chat area consumes most of the available width.
Investigation
Look for width-restoration or layout-state races involving:
- switching sessions or chats;
- showing/hiding or maximizing/restoring the editor and details areas;
- opening Changes or a single-file diff;
- resizing or reopening the Agents Window;
- restoring cached single-side-pane proportions.
Additional reproduction details and logs are needed when the layout occurs again.
