Type: Bug

This looks like it may be #3371 coming back again

  1. Be on a Github Enterprise Server
  2. in json user settings add the following:
// anonymised, use a real URL
"github-enterprise.uri": "https://local.fake-url.com",
"githubPullRequests.remotes": [
    "origin",
    "upstream",
]
  1. Get Spammed with "Fetching pull requests failed: Bad credentials" when open Pull Requests viewlet
  2. attempting to login goes through the login flow, succeeds, then fails after pings for new versions

I found that downgrading the version fixed this for me, so it's a new problem

Closing as this is fixed in pre-release (thanks for checking there!) and same root cause as #6063
